Description :

In the framework of the new Initiative for Climate and Environment of the German Government, projects in the field of climate and environmental protection will be particularly supported in the developing and emerging countries. In this context Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau (kfW) is providing a Credit line for Energy Efficiency and Climate Protection in the Philippines to the Land Bank of the Philippines.

The purpose of the Credit Line is to finance investments with the positive impact on energy efficiency and climate protection. The objective is to significantly reduce the direct consumption of primary energy (e.g. diesel, coal, gas) and direct greenhouse gas emissions of the sub-borrowers of the credit line. The overall goal is to contribute to increased energy efficiency and climate protection in the Philippines.

Start/ Duration :

10 months within - 24 months / end of year

Qualifications/Experience:

• Relevant Academic Degree;
• Proven, CV based experience in Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy;
• Specific Experience in energy audits an marketing of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy;
• Experience in capacity building and training in financial institutions;
• Expertise in clean development mechanism (CDM) including PoA process;
• Prior work expierience in the region and in KfW funded projects would mean an advantage.
