Description :

Support to poverty alleviation through an integrated development of the farming agribusiness in rural areas of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Start/ Duration :

Beginning 2010; duration 24 months

Qualifications/Experience:

General Qualifications:

Advanced University degree in a sector relevant to rural development and agribusiness

At least 8 years relevant work experience in the sector of integrated rural development and agribusiness development in Central Asia

Prior work experience in the region and / or in EC funded projects would mean an strong asset

Specific Experience

Proven, CV based experience in the field of

·           Agribusiness development and agribusiness marketing

·           Integrated rural development

·           Institutional development of rural and agribusiness organisations

·           Financial Management of agribusiness and rural organisations

·           Capacity building for agribusiness and rural organisations

·           Quality Management and / or Certification

Languages:

Excellent knowledge of English ; Russian would be an asset
