Description :

For different positions in projects in the MEDA region we are looking for senior experts who are experienced with Islamic Finance. In particular we are looking for experts with in-depth experience in:

·    Risk management at banks and/or microfinance institutions (prior experience in Islamic banks in this field is an asset)

·    Islamic lending principles (procedures, product development, training, etc.)

·    IT systems in banks (prior experience in Islamic banks in this field is an asset)

·    Treasury for Islamic banks

·    Islamic savings principles

Qualifications/Experience:

• MA in banking, economics, finance, mathematics, statistics, or business;
• At least five years of experience in one or more of the above described areas of interest. (Preferably the experience has been gained in an Islamic bank);
• Advanced statistical skills, credit risk modelling/ analysis, data mining, and financial knowledge;
• Staff training skills in one or more of the above mentioned areas of interest;
• Knowledge of Islamic finance market in the MEDA region;
• Work experience in banks or financial institutions in the MEDA region;
• Excellent relationship management with good presentation and commercial skills.

Languages:

English, Arabic would mean an strong asset
